Status Messages
Allows you to change the text of the status messages
A message that is sent automatically by the software to an agent or a customer during a chat session. that are transmitted during chat sessions. You can also set time intervals for automatic messages.
Edit a Status Message
To edit a status message:
- Select the site you want from the Settings Level list.
- Type your message into the text field.
- Click Save.
Status messages display in
different locations.

| Transfer Message | Displays in the customer's chat window. |
| Auto Transfer Message | Displays in the customer's chat window. |
| Auto Transfer Fail Message | Displays in the customer's chat window. |
| No Agent Message | Displays in the customer's chat window. |
| Agent Enter Message | Displays in the customer's chat window. |
| Customer is Typing | Displays in the Agent Interface. |
| Warning Message | Displays in customer's chat window. |
| Customer Stops Typing | Displays in the Agent Interface. |

| Setting | Definition |
|---|---|
| Automatically send agent is typing message | The "Agent is typing" message is sent to the customer automatically. |
| Number of seconds before message is automatically sent | The amount of time the system waits before sending the "Agent is typing" message to the customer. |
| Show warning message to client timeout | The number of seconds the system waits before sending a timeout message. |
