Standard events

You can specify standard events as additional launch events in the Conditions tab of the Create Rule or Edit Rule page. For details, see Manage conditions for a business rule.

You can specify the following standard events as launch events:

Standard event Description
onAgentAssigned Chat is routed to an agent.
onAgentMsg Agent sends a message to a customer.
onAnyEvent

Any event occurs.

onBeforeExitConfirmation Confirmation box displayed before a customer leaves a page.
onBeforeUnload Customer is about to leave a page.
onC2CClicked Customer clicks a chat button.
onC2CDisplayed Chat button is displayed.
onC2CStateChanged State of a chat button changes.
onCancelExit Customer clicks cancel on an exit confirmation dialog.
onChatShown Chat window is displayed.
onCustomerMsg Customer sends a message to an agent.
onExposureQualified Customer has qualified for an engagement to be exposed.
onManualInvocation Customer manually invokes a chat.
onPageLanding New page loads for a customer. This is the default selection.
onPersistentPush Chat is pushed to persistent mode.
onQueueWaitMsg New queue message is sent to a customer.
onRuleSatisfied Any rule's criteria, including delay, has been met.
onServiceAssisted Customer transitions into an assisted state.
onServiceConverted Customer transitions into converted state (sale registered).
onServiceEngaged

Customer either:

  • clicks C2C

  • starts typing in proactive chat window

onServiceInteracted Agent replies to customer.
onServiceInvitation

User is invited to use a service, either:

  • C2C image is displayed

  • proactive chat opens

onServiceMissed Any response from the server that prevents displaying an actual service, as in a "missed opportunity."
