Agent Desktop UI and settings

The Agent Desktop is a web-based user interface that provides each user with production credentials.

Note: This documentation is for Agent Desktop version 3.0, which is currently available as a preview.
Clients can choose to use either version 2.1 or version 3.0, depending on their specific requirements. For more information, refer to the Logging in section.

Logging in

To login, open your browser and navigate to your dedicated URL. On the login page, enter your username and password.

You are prompted to change the password immediately when you first log in.

Note: The login page and password reset options are displayed only to non-SSO users.

For Single Sign On (SSO) users, the Agent desktop does not display the login window, as the SSO process automatically logs in the agent once they have launched the interface tool.

Note: The initial login request includes a specific URL query parameter added to the main URL. This parameter redirects to the client's identity provider (IDP) for login, which, in turn, logs the agent in and launches the Summary landing page.

Agent Desktop is supported in the latest versions of the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome

  • Mozilla Firefox

  • Microsoft Edge

Preview in Agent Desktop version 3.0

To preview all enhancements in Agent Desktop version 3.0 before its General Availability release, add the query parameter at the end of your Agent Desktop URL before logging in.

For example, if the query parameter is ?v3preview, the URL is:

https://agent-training.digital.nuance.com/?v3preview

Preview in Agent Desktop version 3.0 with SSO

To preview Agent Desktop version 3.0 with Single Sign-On (SSO), add the query parameter at the end of the SSO URL.

For example, if the query parameter is &v3preview, the URL is:

https://agent-training.digital.nuance.com/SSO=true&v3preview

Note: If you wish to return to the current Agent Desktop experience, log out and log back in using the regular URL.
