Filenames and location

This table summarizes the default filenames and location for diagnostic logs. The log filename indicates the service generating the output, for example, ts for Telephony Session service. By default, all diagnostic logs go in the same location under %NUANCE_DATA_DIR%/system/diagnosticLogs. This environment variable is set to:

• Windows: C:\ProgramData\Nuance\Enterprise
• Linux: var/local/Nuance

Not all logging levels in Management Station are available for all services. For some services and components, you must first enable logging in a configuration file.

Below, num indicates the service instance number, for example, ts1.log or 2-EventSource.log.
