The <global> element defines parameters for the entire application. These include:

Parameter	Type	Description
application_name	String	Specifies an application name of up to 256 characters to be associated with a session. This name appears in call logs. Note: The application_name is overridden by the Application Name set on the Applications tab for the Voice Browser service in the Management Station.
company_name	String	Specifies a company name of up to 256 characters to be associated with a session. This name appears in call logs. Note: The company_name is overridden by the Company Name set on the Applications tab for the Voice Browser service in the Management Station.
