Selects RTP or SIP as the communications protocol for incoming and outgoing telephone calls.

The default is FALSE (disabled).

Incoming calls

Use this parameter for bridged transfers on SIP deployments with a single gateway when the gateway does not support audio forking. See Configuration settings that affect audio routing.

When using SIP/TLS to encrypt communications, this parameter must be FALSE.

Outgoing calls

When using hot word recognition in a deployment where your gateway does not support audio forking:

• Enable this parameter
• Ensure that ts.APSIPGatewaySupportsForking remains FALSE.
