Set to TRUE to enable Voice Platform to stream audio from the called party (C) to the caller (party A) while initiating the transfer, instead of waiting until after the transfer is completed. Once enabled, party A can hear call-progress tones or special announcements like, “The circuits are busy, please try again.” Enabling this early connection feature can also prevent missing the beginning of party C’s response. The default is FALSE. Applies to transfers of type bridge and consultation.

Note these limitations:

• You cannot use early connection with far-end dialog. See farenddialog for more information.
• Any audio specified by the transferaudio attribute on the <transfer> element is ignored.
