Install Dialogic Natural Access software

To install the Natural Access software, follow these instructions and also referr to the Natural Access documentation for more information:

  1. Stop the Nuance Watcher Daemon from the Windows Services Control Panel.
  2. If an older version of the NMS software is already installed on your system, open a command-prompt window and run ppxservicecfg -remove.
  3. Remove the previous NMS software through the Windows Control Panel.
  4. Delete the NMS directory and restart your machine.
  5. Get the Natural Access 9.0.8 download 64-bit compatibility mode for your operating system from Sangoma Dialogic Boards.

Note: The compatibility mode is required, not 64-bit (without compatibiilty mode).

The Natural Access software contains the NMS software that you need, including the following:

  • Natural Access
  • NMS CAS
  • NMS ISDN
  • NMS OAM
  • Fusion
  1. From the temporary directory, run Install.bat to install the Natural Access program.
  2. Follow the instructions provided on the screen:
    1. Select the CG telephony board family.
    2. Select both the country you are in and the United States (at end of list).
    3. If you selected more than one country in the previous step, select the country you are in as the default country.
    4. Choose the destination folder.
    5. Check Let Setup modify your settings.
    6. If you get a security alert message concerning the NMS driver, just click Yes to install the driver software.
    7. When prompted to install NMS Hot Swap Support, click No.
    8. Let the installation restart your machine.
