Resume sending messages

You can resume a single campaign or resume a campaign group. Both procedures are described here.

Resume a campaign

This procedure resumes a single campaign. You can choose to resume the campaign immediately or resume at a later date of your choosing.

  1. From the header bar, click DASHBOARD. This displays a list of campaigns:

  2. Locate a campaign and click anywhere on it. This displays the panels for Suspend / Resume Dispatching, Results, Transfers, and Records.
  3. Click Suspend / Resume Dispatching to display the Suspend / Resume Dispatching panel. Note that RESUME NOW is enabled only if the campaign is currently suspended.

  4. To resume now, click RESUME NOW. This displays the Resume Now dialog box, for example:

  5. If you want to delete all pending jobs for the campaign, click YES. Otherwise, click NO. The campaign resumes immediately. Skip to Step 9.

  6. To resume at a date of your choosing, click SCHEDULE RESUME. This displays the New Resume dialog box:

  7. For Resume Handling, select AUTOMATIC to schedule the resume date or MANUAL to schedule an email reminder to resume manually on a date you choose.
    1. If you select AUTOMATIC, you must select a Resume Date. If you want to schedule a reminder email before the Resume Date, click Send Reminder before Automatic Resume?, then select Reminder Before Date, and enter one or more email address in Addresses. Use commas to separate multiple email addresses. For example:

    2. If you select MANUAL, select a Reminder Date and enter one or more email addresses in Addresses. Use commas to separate multiple email addresses. For example:

  8. When you are done, click SAVE to save the changes.
  9. If you want to edit an action that is already scheduled, find the action in the Pending Actions list and click Edit. This displays an Edit dialog box, where you change the action.

  10. If you want to view the suspend and resume history for the campaign, click History. This displays a dialog box showing the most recent suspend and resume actions and when they occurred. The Changed By column displays the user who scheduled the action. For example:

Resume a campaign group

You can resume dispatching for a suspended campaign group at any time. You can choose to resume the campaign group immediately or at a later date.

You can also resume individual campaigns that belong to a group without resuming others. Do this by clicking the individual campaign and following the procedure in Resume a campaign.

  1. In the header bar, click Dashboard.
  2. Find the campaign group you want to resume and confirm that Resume Group and Resume Now options are active. Note that these options are enabled only if the campaign is currently suspended:

  3. To resume now, click Resume Now. This displays the Resume Now dialog box:

  4. If you want to delete all pending jobs for all campaigns in the group, click YES. Otherwise, click NO and the campaign resumes immediately.

  5. To resume at a later date, click Resume Group. This displays the New Resume dialog box:

  7. When you are done, click SAVE to save the changes.
  8. If you want to edit a resume action that is already scheduled, click Pending Actions. This displays a list of pending actions. Click Edit to change an action or Discard to delete it.
