Configuring NLE
Natural Language Engine, or NLE, is Nuance's text-to-meaning engine, also called a semantic engine. NLE takes the output from Nuance Text Processing Engine (NTpE) and identifies the intent and/or meanings expressed in the text.
If using Management Station, set properties on the Natural Language Engine service . If not using Management Station, set in the NLE configuration file:
- Windows: %NUANCE_DATA_DIR%\config\system\User-nle01.properties
- Linux: $NUANCE_DATA_DIR/system/config/User-nle01.properties
For NLE service properties exposed in Speech Suite, see Configuring the Natural Language Engine service.
