swirec_max_search_memory
Maximum amount of memory to use in a search.
Value |
Integer: 0–INT_MAX. |
Default |
0 (no constraint applied) |
How to set |
Set in the browser, using the Vendor-Specific-Parameters header in a RECOGNIZE or SET-PARAMS method. |
Usage |
For Nuance internal use only, for memory-constrained environments. |
Certain types of searches (large SLMs, for example) might “blow up” and consume lots of memory and CPU. This parameter constrains the maximum memory used by any one search. It can therefore prevent a search from consuming so much memory and CPU that it affects other users. Set this parameter conservatively since a recognition that hits this boundary will fail; that is, it is normal for there to be variation in search sizes.
