swirec_shmem_resource_load_timeout
Maximum time for a process to wait for a resource in shared memory.
Value |
Integer: 0–60. |
Default |
30 (seconds) |
How to set |
In Management Station set on the Nuance recognition service. If not using Management Station, set in a Recognizer configuration file (User-nrsxx.xml). |
Usage |
Set by system administrators for all recognition servers on a host. Do not change the default value unless Nuance technical support recommends a change. |
When a recognition server process is loading a resource into shared memory, and another Recognizer needs that resource, the timer measures how long to wait for the loading to complete. When the maximum is reached, the waiting Recognizer loads a copy of the resource into its local memory.
Each recognition server process on the host can set this parameter to different values.
This parameter belongs to a group of parameters that control shared memory. It is only relevant when swirec_shmem_enabled is set. For a complete example, see swirec_shmem_enabled.
