This property requires FIPS-compliant ciphers (FIPS 140¬2 level 1) for all SSL communications. In Speech Suite, this is known as FIPS mode.
FIPS refers to Federal Information Processing Standards, a set of USA government standards that includes encryption algorithms.
When you enable this parameter, Vocalizer negotiates FIPS-compliant ciphers during the setup of the SSL communications with secure servers (for example, to fetch audio files from an https server).
