Building Usage reports
Use the Usage report to generate high level views of daily billing records processed and platform minutes of use.

Example: You generate a report for the past two weeks to analyze campaign messaging and platform use.
To build the report:
- Under Reports, select Standard, then Billing Summary.
- Enter a Date Range. Data is available for up to the past 13 months, but report query spans must be 31 days or less.
- Select the Type of Breakdown: Alert Name or Billing Division.
- Select the Type of Data: Production Data or Test Data.
- Click Run Report.

- Staged Inbound: The number of Inbound alerts staged (sent).

These interacts are for unstructured data fields without pre-defined values. (They can optionally be encrypted; if they are, reports display only the word “ENCRYPTED”.) The data appears in this report, and can also be reported using the Ad Hoc Download tool. Interacts are indicators that track customer interactions with the application. |

| Service Type |
A service type is the kind of telephony service associated with a particular phone number.
It is usually either “land line” or “wireless”.
It can also be “toll-free”.

Mobile Terminated (MT) refers to an SMS message sent from us to a consumer mobile device. |

A piece of information that is sent or given to someone; a notification or alert containing communication; an underlying theme or idea. |
