Installation overview
Nuance Voice Platform for Speech Suite 11 runs on Linux and Windows. See the Release Notes for the supported versions.

The Voice Platform installation involves completing these main tasks in order:

| 1 | Decide where to install Voice Platform and how to integrate it with Nuance Speech Suite. See Planning the installation. | |
| 2 | Obtain your license file and add it to License Manager, which enables the Voice Platform role files in Management Station. See Obtaining a license. | |

Configure each host where you plan to install Voice Platform. See Configuring hosts. Note: It is strongly recommended that you remove any unsupported versions of third-party software or Nuance products. |

| 4 | Download and install Java and Apache Tomcat. See Installing required third-party software. | |
| 5 | Download the Voice Platform installation package and run the installer to install Voice Platform on each host. See Installing Voice Platform. | |
| 6 | Test the Voice Platform installation to configure the services and to verify that they start up successfully. See Testing the installation. | |
