swiep_license_ports_overdraft_thresh
Number of licenses the endpointer can claim before the system generates a warning.
Value |
Integer: -1 or greater than zero. The maximum is the value of swiep_license_ports. |
Default |
-1 (disables overdraft) |
How to set |
In Management Station set on the Nuance recognition service. If not using Management Station, set in a Recognizer configuration file (User-nrsxx.xml). |
Usage |
Frequently used by system administrators to detect excessive port usage on the recognizer. The value is usually reduced during development, and increased to the number of available licenses during deployment. |
The value is read during initialization and cannot be changed at runtime.
This parameter specifies a threshold: when the number of claimed licenses exceeds the threshold, an “overdraft” warning is written to the diagnostic log. Additionally, the license counting tools differentiate between endpointers created in excess of the overdraft threshold and those that are below the threshold.
Typically, you set the same value as used for swirec_license_ports_overdraft_thresh.
Use this parameter to configure redundant licenses to expand capacity during equipment failures in the system. The threshold helps monitor the usage of the redundant licenses when the system is running in a degraded mode.
Note: If you are using a DTMF-ONLY license, you must set this parameter to off (0).
